The National Identification Authority (NIA) has reminded the public that it does not accept physical cash payments at any of its registration and service centres across Ghana.
Individuals seeking to access Ghana Card services are therefore advised to use only the official payment channels approved by the NIA.
Approved NIA Payment Channels
Customers can make payments for NIA services through the following options:
USSD payment: Dial *771# and follow the instructions.
CalBank Mobile App: Use the CalBank mobile banking application to complete the payment.
CalBank branches: Payments can also be made at any CalBank branch nationwide.
The NIA has urged applicants to use only these approved payment methods when paying for Ghana Card registration and related services.
Members of the public are also encouraged to be cautious of unauthorised individuals or unofficial payment platforms claiming to process NIA transactions.
Using the approved payment channels helps ensure that payments for National Identification Authority services are properly processed and reduces the risk of fraud or financial loss.
