NPP rejects hiring a Ukrainian public relations agency to discredit Mahama in 2024.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has categorically denied claims that it has a relationship with the Ukrainian public relations firm Brandcom.

The NPP allegedly hired Brandcom to handle phony social media profiles during the 2024 elections, according to a report by AllAfrica.com.

These allegations, however, were flatly refuted in a statement issued on August 3, 2025, and credited to the party’s communications team.

According to the NPP, it has always carried out its election procedures honorably and with a strong dedication to democratic ideals.

The party emphasized that this piece seemed to be an intentional attempt to harm its image.

The NPP has also demanded that the fraudulent story be immediately withdrawn, threatening to take legal action if the issue is not resolved.
