The Ghana Police Service has carried out a show of force and route march in the Ayawaso East Constituency ahead of the impending by-election.
The practice is part of heightened security measures designed to maintain peace, security, and law and order before, during, and after the elections.
The operation involved a large number of police officers from several units marching through the constituency’s main streets.
The purpose of the exercise was to show locals that the Service is prepared to react quickly to any security danger, reassure them, and discourage possible troublemakers.
They highlighted that the Service is still dedicated to offering a secure environment for all parties involved.
