The National Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Salam Mustapha, has withdrawn from the contest for the party’s National Organiser position ahead of the upcoming NPP national executive elections.
The decision was announced by the Chairman of the NPP National Elections Committee, Frederick Opare-Ansah, during the balloting exercise organised for aspirants ahead of the party’s internal elections.
According to Mr Opare-Ansah, Salam Mustapha formally notified the Elections Committee of his decision to step aside from the NPP National Organiser race.
His withdrawal means the remaining aspirants will proceed with the balloting process to determine their positions on the official ballot paper for the upcoming NPP national elections.
NPP Praises Salam Mustapha
The NPP National Elections Committee Chairman expressed appreciation to Salam Mustapha for his contribution to the party and commended him for maintaining a calm and composed approach throughout the preliminary stages of the election process.
Salam Mustapha had been regarded as one of the prominent contenders in the race for the NPP National Organiser position, having built significant experience within the party’s organisational structure.
Before becoming the substantive NPP National Youth Organiser, Mustapha served as the party’s Deputy National Youth Organiser.
