The GRA Customs Division has a new Commissioner, Brig. Gen. Glover Ashong Annan.

Brigadier General Glover Ashong Annan has been named the Commissioner of the Ghana Revenue Authority’s Customs Division by President John Dramani Mahama.

Brig. Gen. Annan “is expected to reset the Customs Division and support the Ghana Revenue Authority to meet its targets as we work towards fixing the economy,” according to a statement issued by Mr. Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Secretary for Government Communications and the President’s spokesperson.

Brig. Gen. Annan, who was the Presidential Security Coordinator before to his appointment, was characterized in the announcement as a highly esteemed, committed, ethical, and patriotic Commissioned Officer of the Ghana Army.

Additionally, the President thanked Brig. Gen. Zibilm Avorrogo, the departing Commissioner, for his outstanding contribution to Ghana and the Customs Division.
