The Minister states that the Juansa feeder, which comes from the Konongo Primary substation, feeds Asante Akim North under the Electricity Corporation of Ghana (ECG) Konongo District.

He continued by saying that the Juansa feeder’s length—roughly 234.5 circuit kilometers—has caused low voltage circumstances for clients at the end of the queue.

During his presentation on the power position in Asante Akim, Hon. Jinapor made this declaration on the House floor.

According to him, the feeder recorded three unforeseen outages and five planned outages between April 1 and September 30, 2025.

He stated that two were caused by GRIDCo load shedding, two by ECG emergency load shedding, and two more for corrective maintenance.

He said that in order to enhance service delivery, voltage improvement technology (VIT) installations have been placed on the feeder in the short term.
