Following his recent appearance at the Accra Juvenile Court, 16-year-old Elrad Amoako, the son of Archbishop Salifu Amoako, the founder of Alive Chapel International, was placed under remand again.
The decision comes after a fatal tragedy that occurred in East Legon, Accra, on October 12, 2024.
The next hearing for Elrad is set for November 13, 2024, according to GHOne TV reports. The court set some requirements during the preliminary hearing on November 1, such as turning in his U.S. and Ghanaian passports by November 4.
On the same day, Elrad was also told to travel to the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) for a medical checkup.
In addition, the court ordered that if he develops any health problems while being held, he must be taken to the Police Hospital.
Elrad was operating a Jaguar SUV with registration number GN 7801-20 when he lost control of the car and struck a 4×4 Acura SUV with registration number GR 2542-23.
Both cars caught fire as a result of the collision, unfortunately killing two young women who were riding in the Acura: Justine Agbenu and Maame Dwomoh.
