Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign team has announced a suspension to operations.
The decision was made, according to a press statement on Saturday, September 23, in order to allow the Vice President to visit some sites during the ongoing limited voter registration drive.
The message, which was signed by Spokesperson Dr. Gideon Boako, stated that Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will use the campaign break to visit a few E.C. Registration facilities and encourage all party members to concentrate on encouraging eligible voters to register for their voter’s ID card.
“The campaign entreats all party members to take note and work hard to achieve each constituency’s registration target.”
Dr. Bawumia visited the Enchi district of the Electoral Commission of Ghana (EC) while he was in the Western North Region.
He went there to keep an eye on the drill, which will end on Monday, October 2.
