The Attorney General filed a complaint in the High Court accusing Gifty Oware Mensah, the former Deputy National Service Authority Boss, of stealing, wilfully inflicting financial harm to the state, using public position for profit, and money laundering.
She is accused of exploiting her position as the Deputy Director General of the NSA to plan a complex loan fraud and embezzle more than GH31.5 million.
