Miss International Africa 2024, Akysanna Veisa, was hosted by Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, Minister for tourist, Culture, and Creative Arts, during a courtesy visit aimed at fostering youth empowerment, tourist cooperation, and cultural exchange between Ghana and Cape Verde.
Miss Nereida Lobo, the creator of the Little Crown Foundation, which has funded educational initiatives in Ghana since 2017, accompanied Miss Veisa, who advocates for SDGs 1 (No Poverty) and 4 (Quality Education).
In addition to praising the two women for their inspirational efforts, Hon. Gomashie reiterated the Ministry’s dedication to leveraging culture and tourism as instruments for empowerment, solidarity, and sustainable growth.
