Starting today, Thursday, October 16, 2025, there should be a considerable drop in the price of petroleum products at the pumps.

According to Joy Business, the Chamber of Oil Marketing Companies (COMAC), which sets the prices for oil marketing companies (OMCs) in Ghana, included this forecast in its most recent outlook report.

The research projects that gas prices will drop by as much as 4.15% per litre, lowering the pump price from GH¢ 14.52 to roughly GH¢ 13.93.

Additionally, diesel prices could drop by 2.08% to 4.10%, which would mean that a litre would sell for GH¢ 14.56 instead of GH¢ 15.17. Additionally, a decline of up to 4.46% is anticipated in Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).
