In the Fanteakwa South District of the Eastern Region, at Akyem Nsuta, an 18-year-old student was fatally stabbed by her lover.
During a violent altercation, Osei Michael stabbed Abigail Asare in his barbershop. During a brief school break, Abigail had traveled to see her boyfriend.
The altercation allegedly started when Emeka, as the suspect is also known, claimed that Abigail had dated him twice.

He fled the scene after locking the girl who was seriously hurt up in his salon. Her cries for assistance woke up onlookers, who dispatched the police to the scene.
The body of the victim was found in a pool of blood after they busted down the door.
The body was taken to the morgue for an autopsy by the police and the victim’s relatives.
