He pointed out that the outcome of the Special Delegates Conference, which will take place before to the National Conference, will reveal who the party has chosen as its flagbearer and leader.
“I am aware that the candidate for NPP flagbearer has already been chosen. We already know. The grassroots are aware of what Ghanaians desire and are eager to fulfill it. I’m confident you’ll learn more about me very soon.
Because it is an internal election, I am unable to come in and spread the word about someone’s campaign, he explained. Mr. Namoo extolled the candidate’s qualities, saying they had what it takes to run a successful campaign and win the presidency for the NPP three times in a row (break the eight.
“The individual has the resources. He highlighted that “He has all the people, all the human resources to execute that. Although it is unclear who would be chosen as flagbearer, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has received resounding support from the party’s top decision-makers.
His campaign to be the flagbearer has received the open backing of more than half of the NPP MPs in Parliament. Many powerful figures, including former National Organiser Sammi Awuku, have endorsed him.
John Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten, who is also receiving considerable support, is his main rival. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong is a strong contender who’s campaign appears to be picking up momentum. But Dr. Bawumia continues to be the front-runner in the contest.
