Hon. Kwame Agbodza, Minister of Roads and Highways, has observed the continuing rehabilitation of the Atimpoku-Asikuma Junction Road (Km 0+000 – 17+500) as part of his two-day working trip of the Volta, Oti, and Eastern Regions.
Messrs. USSUYA (Ghana) Ltd. is currently 32.3 percent of the way through the project.
The project is scheduled to be finished in December 2027, having begun in December 2025. Road widening, pavement layers, and drainage have all been completed thus far.
The Minister asked the contractor to keep up the pace in order to fulfil the December 2027 completion date, expressing satisfaction with the work’s progress.
