It was with a heavy heart that I received the news of the death of my long-standing friend Hon. Enoch Teye Mensah whom I affectionately referred to as my Chief of Staff.
E.T as he was popularly known, made lifelong friendships with many on all sides of the political divide, even though he was a fiercely competitive politician.
The late E.T Mensah would be remembered for his sterling performance as Mayor of Accra, Minister for Youth and Sports, and Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram, at various times during the NDC term of office in government.
He fought a good fight in his political career and has left an indelible mark in the history of Ghanaian politics.
May the good Lord grant him eternal rest.
