The Minister of Roads and Highways, Francis Asenso-Boakye, has revealed plans to allow traffic on sections of the Kasoa-Winneba route, which is presently under construction, by the end of 2024.

Mr. Asenso-Boakye promised to speed the project’s completion and reassured stakeholders of its progress during a fruitful visit to the Central Region.

He expressed his gratitude to the contractors for their hard work, noting that they planned to have major sections of the road open by December.

“The contractors are committed to completing substantial sections of the road, allowing for traffic flow before the year’s end. To meet this goal, they have implemented round-the-clock work schedules,” the Minister assured.
