The National Democratic Congress (NDC), the largest opposition party, will continue holding internal elections to choose the executives who will run the organization for the next four (4) years.

However, the party has already finished with polling places, constituency, and regional elections; all that is left are the elections for women, youth, and national executives.

Alex Segbefia, a former director of international relations and current member of the NDC election committee, has announced that the University of Cape Coast will host the Women and Youth Conference on Saturday, December 10, 2022.

He continued by saying that the reason the party choose Cape Coast was because the Central Region had aided the NDC for more than 30 years whenever similar conferences were needed.

He stated that 1,086 delegates will vote for candidates running for the job of youth organizer, while 886 delegates will vote for the position of women organizer.

He emphasized that on Saturday, December 17, 2022, the National Delegates Conference, which would include 8,964 delegates from all around the nation, will be held at the Nations Wembley Accra Sports Stadium.

He disclosed that the aforementioned delegates will stay in Legon before traveling to the Accra Sports Stadium on December 17, 2022.

He made this statement during a press conference with the topic “Rallying for Victory 2024 Ghana’s Hope” at the NDC’s Adabraka headquarters in Accra.

Together with the NDC Election Committee, the Electoral Commission (EC) has set policies in place to ensure a successful election. He spoke.

All party members were pushed by Mr. Alex Segbefia to rally behind the election committee and declare themselves the United Party.
