The National Health Insurance Authority’s (NHIA) recently appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Dr. Victor Asare Bampoe, and his deputies were given a courtesy call by the Professional and Allied Workers Union (PAWU) leadership.
The meeting, which took place at the NHIA Head Office in Accra, gave the Union a chance to publicly congratulate the new leadership team and talk about important areas of cooperation that would benefit both the Authority and its employees.
Dr. Bampoe welcomed the PAWU delegation, which was led by Mr. Yakubu Hamza. He conveyed gratitude for their visit and reaffirmed his dedication to promoting a cordial working relationship between staff and management.
He underlined how crucial cooperation and honest communication are to fulfilling the Authority’s mission of offering high-quality, easily accessible healthcare under the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).
PAWU’s Union National Chairman, Mr. Hamza, congratulated the new CEO and his deputies on their appointment and promised them the Union’s support in promoting the well-being of NHIA employees.
In order to improve efficiency and service delivery, he also outlined some of the Union’s expectations and concerns, calling on management to collaborate closely with staff.
At the end of the conference, there was a renewed commitment to communication, cooperation, and joint efforts to improve the NHIS for the good of all Ghanaians.
