Former Bank of Ghana Deputy Governor Mr. Asiedu-Mante died. Mr. Asiedu-Mante passed away at 81 years old on Monday night.
In Ghana’s banking industry, Asiedu-Mante was a well-respected individual who had an illustrious career in both the public and private sectors. From 2009 until 2013, he held the position of Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana, where he had a significant impact on the financial sector and the nation’s economic growth.
Asiedu-Mante had several top roles in a number of banks in Ghana before to being hired by the central bank. He served on the boards of numerous other organizations in addition to being the managing director of CAL Bank Limited and the Standard Chartered Bank Ghana.
Asiedu-Mante was well respected by his coworkers and peers and was widely recognized as an authority on banking. His contributions to the growth of Ghana’s financial sector will live on in memory.
