Together with his deputy, Hon. Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui, sector minister Hon. Kenneth Gilbert Adjei met with heads of departments and agencies within the ministry yesterday to discuss the draft Sector Medium Term Development Plan (SMTDP), a strategic plan that will direct the restructuring of the economy’s Works, Housing, and Water Sub-Sectors over the next four years.
The sector minister had previously met with agency heads to discuss current operations in relation to the fulfillment of the core mandate and to identify developing difficulties that need immediate attention.
The framework, which was created as a strategic blueprint following the National Development Planning Commission’s (NDPC) recommendations, will be essential to creating a physical environment that is inclusive and sustainable while satisfying the many requirements of its residents.
The sector minister sincerely thanked the team under the direction of Rev. Stephen Yaw Osei, the chief director, for completing the SMTDP paper on time.
