A man named Malcom Fraizer, also known as Nii Djan, has been taken into custody by the Ghana Police Service in relation to the murder of another man after a violent argument in Accra.
The police’s National Operations Directorate (NOD) Intelligence Unit used intelligence collection to locate the suspect’s hiding place, leading to the arrest on July 1, 2025.
The development came after a video connected to the event went viral, aiding detectives in tracking down and capturing the culprit.
The police released a statement stating that the incident took place on April 1, 2025. The suspect admitted during initial questioning that he had a physical altercation with the dead after learning that the man was supposedly seeing his ex-wife.
Fraizer is helping with ongoing investigations while being held by the police.
