Applications for passports should be completed  by October 18 – Foreign Ministry

Passport applicants who paid for their passport processing before April 1, 2024, but whose biometric information has not yet been collected, are urged by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration to visit the Passport Application Centers (PACs) of their choice to finish the application process.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration made this announcement in a news release on Tuesday.

According to the statement, “Passport applications which were submitted before 1st April 2024, under the One Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH¢ 100.00) and One Hundred and Fifty Ghana Cedis (GH¢150.00) payment options and have not been processed would cease to be valid after 18th October 2024.”

The Ministry urged that in order to carry out this crucial process, passport applicants collaborate with PACs.
