Ghana’s Black Maidens made a powerful start to their WAFU B U17 Girls Cup campaign, recording a convincing 4-0 victory over Burkina Faso in their opening match.

Ghana dominated the contest and took the lead shortly before half-time after Linda Achiaa won a penalty for the Black Maidens.

Seidatu Wahab stepped up to take the spot-kick and calmly converted in the 45+3rd minute, giving Ghana a 1-0 advantage going into the break.
