Dr. Johnson P. Asiama, the governor of the Bank of Ghana, has issued a warning that if the Middle East turmoil persists, it may have a detrimental impact on Ghana’s liquidity.
Speaking at a global conference hosted by GEXIM to commemorate the bank’s tenth anniversary, Dr. Asiama stated that although he expects the conflict will soon cease, the central bank has taken steps to lessen any possible effects on the nation’s financial system.
