In preparation for the general elections of 2024, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, has selected Dan Botwe, a former minister of local government and rural development, to his campaign manager.

This occurs a few days after Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah, the MP for Techiman South, was appointed by President Akufo-Addo to succeed him.

It’s unclear if the President’s reorganization was influenced in any way by his recent appointment as campaign manager. However, those close to the NPP Flagbearer claim that extensive deliberations preceded the decision’s making.

The Vice President will unveil his campaign team on Monday following the National Executive Committee and National Council meetings, according to sources close to Citi News.

Next Monday, Dr. Bawumia is probably going to unveil his campaign squad.

Mr. Justin Koduah Frimpong, the general secretary of the party, stated on Saturday that the flagbearer announced his policy direction quickly after winning the presidential contest because he had a clear vision for the country.

This was disclosed by Mr. Koduah Frimpong on Saturday during the Savannah Region’s parliamentary candidate for Damongo, Mr. Samuel Abu Jinapor.
