Ghanaian farmers have been promised a successful agricultural year by Deputy Agric Minister John Setor Dumelo.

He claims that post-harvest losses and glut problems will be reduced.

He added that efforts are being made by the government to guarantee that farmers have a quick market for their produce.

Following his visits to the Western and Western North areas, he announced this in a social media post.

“From driving through the night to meet up Cocoa farmers at 7am in Tarkwa Nsuaem constituency in the Western to addressing the needs of maize and cassava farmers in the Kwesimintim constituency, I am confident 2026 will be a good year for the agric industry”. he stated.

“Issues of glut and post harvest losses will be minimized as well as getting ready market for farm produce,” the statement continued. “Together let’s make agriculture Great again, thanks so much Hon Taylor and Hon Buckman for the warm reception. I always dey 4 u”.
