The exam dates for the 2024 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) have been formally announced by the Ghana Education Service (GES).
The GES set the exam periods in a letter dated February 5, 2024, as follows:
BECE (SC): July 8 – 12, 2024
WASSCE (SC): July 1 – August 31, 2024
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has been directed by GES to furnish comprehensive particulars regarding the registration procedure for the two examinations.
In the upcoming weeks, the heads of the schools should receive the information.
The Metro, District, and Municipal Directors of Education must get this important information from the Regional Directors of Education in order to communicate it to all heads of Basic and Senior High Schools.
