Petroleum product prices in Ghana are likely to rise dramatically beginning today, March 16, 2026, as a result of a spike in global crude oil prices and supply disruptions on important international shipping routes.
The Chamber of Oil Marketing businesses (COMAC), which influences oil marketing businesses’ price decisions, released its most recent outlook report, which includes the hike.
The research projects a 16.93% increase in fuel and a 17.21% increase in diesel. Additionally, an 11.26% increase in Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) is anticipated.
The price of petrol could increase to roughly GH14.32 per litre if the changes are put into effect, while diesel might sell for roughly GH16.10 per litre.
