The National and Central Regional teams of the Service have intensified public health surveillance in Asikuma Odoben Brakwa and Assin North Districts to address Dengue outbreak.
Dr. Dennis Laryea, Deputy Director of the Disease Surveillance Department GHS, is leading the team in this response efforts.
The Central Regional team, headed by Dr. Agnes Anane, Ag. Director, held discussions with the chiefs and elders of the Breman Ayipey community in Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District, underscoring the importance of local collaboration in managing the outbreak.
These efforts highlight the commitment of the Service to safeguarding public health and preventing the spread of Dengue Fever.
