Finance Minister Dr Cassiel Ato Forson has announced that Ghana’s 2027 Budget Statement and Economic Policy will be presented to Parliament on November 12, 2026.
According to the Finance Minister, the upcoming national budget will focus on translating Ghana’s economic recovery into tangible benefits for citizens, particularly through job creation, improved incomes and private sector growth.
Dr Forson noted that Ghanaians had made significant sacrifices to help restore economic stability, stressing that the next phase of the recovery must deliver decent employment opportunities for young people, better earnings for farmers and an enabling environment for Ghanaian businesses to expand and create jobs.
He explained that the upcoming budget would outline how the government’s New Economy agenda would transform recent economic gains into sustainable economic growth, prosperity and improved living standards.
The November 12 budget presentation is expected to provide further details on the government’s economic priorities, employment strategies, agricultural development and support for businesses in 2027.
