On Friday, John Dramani Mahama joined the 91st Annual Jalsa Salaana of the Mission in Gomoa Pomadze alongside the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and Alhaj Maulvi Noor Mohammed Bin Salih, the Amir and Missionary-in-Charge.
Mahama, the former president, expressed gratitude to the Ahmadiyya Community for their priceless contributions to our nation.

He stated that while realizing the difficulties our nation has and resolving to take action to bring about change, Ghanaians should keep up the promotion of the ideals of inclusivity, unity, and progress as a people.
“Ghana cannot afford to be complacent in adversity.” he said.
Instead, in order to steer Ghanaians toward economic recovery and prosperity, we must capitalize on the solidarity and resiliency that characterize our people.

He asked all Ghanaians to acknowledge and celebrate the tremendous contributions made by groups such as the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community as we move to the future.
The service and altruism of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community serves as a beacon of hope for the entire nation of Ghana as we work to create a better, more prosperous Ghana for future generations.
