In preparation for the 2024 elections, the campaign team of National Democratic Congress (NDC) Presidential Candidate John Dramani Mahama has revealed a number of noteworthy activities scheduled for this week.

Mahama’s commitment to faith, community involvement, and inclusivity is highlighted by these events.

On Monday, September 30, 2024, in Kumasi, the NDC Women’s Manifesto will be officially launched, capping off the week. Mahama and Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, his vice presidential candidate, will preside over the ceremony, which will take place in the Ashanti Region at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Great Hall.

Reflecting Mahama’s long-standing commitment to increasing women’s involvement in leadership roles, this manifesto places a strong emphasis on women’s empowerment and advancing gender inclusion in governance.

As part of his #MahamaConversations series, Mahama will meet with Christian leaders in Accra on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, after the launch.

The purpose of this conversation is to examine Ghanaians’ shared values and the significance of religion in the country’s progress. Mahama is anticipated to reaffirm his commitment to create a National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving, which will promote interfaith cooperation and introspection for the betterment of the country.

Mahama will start a four-day campaign trip in the North East and Savanna Regions on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, to round up the week.

The purpose of this journey is to address economic issues and growing costs directly with Ghanaians, especially in rural areas.

Mahama’s vision of “Building the Ghana We Want,” which centers on cooperative efforts to revitalize the economy and address pressing concerns facing residents nationally, is highlighted by the campaign.
