The Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC) personnel met with Hon. Samuel Nartey George, Minister of Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovations, during a durbar on February 26, 2026.
The Minister emphasised the government’s dedication to employee welfare at the meeting, stressing the advancements made in addressing personnel concerns, such as merit-based promotions and due process.
He underlined that the commitment and expertise of GIFEC’s employees are essential to the company’s growth.
Additionally, the Minister praised employees for their efforts to increase digital connectivity and access across the country and promised to support them going forward as GIFEC takes on important projects.
