A team of fire safety officers from the Sagnarigu Municipal Fire Station, led by ADO l Alhassan Abdul Fatawu, embarked on a fire safety education at GBC’s Radio Savannah in the Northern Region.
This is part of efforts being made by the Regional Command to educate the public on contemporary fire safety measures to curb the increasing number of fires and other related incidents in the region, especially during the harmattan season.
The team advised the participants to always employ the services of qualified and certified electricians, use quality electrical materials, and put in place safety and precautionary measures to safeguard lives and properties at their workplaces and homes.
The management of Radio Savannah thanked the safety team for the valuable knowledge imparted to them and their staff.
