At Makola Market, Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson has wrapped off an enlightening meeting with market ladies, kayayei (head porters), and other vendors.

Prior to the 2025 Budget presentation on Tuesday, March 11th, the meeting offered a chance to hear their expectations and concerns.

Dr. Forson described the encounter as a privilege and recognized the crucial contribution these industrious Ghanaians make to the country’s economic stability.

“It was a privilege to interact with these hardworking Ghanaians who break their backs daily to support our economy,” he stated, highlighting their contributions to the country’s commercial sector.
