In the capacity of the Ministry of Roads and Highways, the Ghana Highway Authority would like to notify the public that construction has begun on the installation of crash barriers along the Koforidua-Mamfe-Aburi Highway, the Brimso Bridge, and the two (2) opposing quadrants across from the Achimota forest at the Dimples roundabout.
This action comes in the wake of similar successful recent work on the Aburi-Nsawam route, which greatly improved road safety and decreased accidents along that corridor.
In order to start work, the contractor, Messrs Hacianda Enterprise Ltd., has been legally granted site possession.
The purpose of this crucial road safety exercise is to safeguard drivers and improve general highway safety.
It is recommended that drivers exercise caution when driving through areas that are undergoing construction.
As we collaborate to make our roadways safer for everyone, we value your cooperation.
