Rwandan Minister Of State For Youth And Arts Pays Courtesy Call On Egyapa Mercer

Hon. Egyapa Mercer had a courtesy call from Hon. Sandrine Umutoni, Rwanda’s Minister of State for Youth and the Arts, at his office. She was there for the African Cinema Summit (ACS) in Accra.

While attending the ACS as a guest, Hon. Umutoni urged Hon. Mercer to further fortify Ghana’s and Rwanda’s bilateral ties.

As of right now, Rwanda and Ghana have inked Memoranda of Understanding in a number of areas, such as trade and economic cooperation, private sector collaboration, tourism, arts and culture, financial sector cooperation, and defense and security cooperation. 

They have also signed a bilateral Air Service Agreement, a General Cooperation (GCA) Agreement, and an Agreement for the establishment of a Joint Permanent Commission.

In light of this, Hon. Mercer stated that Ghana is willing to work with others to enhance the ongoing plans and Memorandums of Understanding, compile information and experience, and strengthen our goal for sharing knowledge and expertise.

He conveyed his happiness with the visit, which aims to deepen the two nations’ cooperation even more.
