The governing boards of the Ghana Library Authority and the Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET), which are led by Dr. Michael Ato Essuman and Nii Doodo Dodoo, respectively, were inaugurated by Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, Minister of Education.
The Minister urged the CTVET Board to work on improving TVET’s quality and reorienting it to increase young graduates’ employability and skill sets.
He gave them his word that he would make sure the government set up a special TVET fund to help with its operations.

The Board of the Ghana Library Authority was tasked by Hon. Iddrisu with modernizing our library system to satisfy contemporary needs. This includes spearheading the creation of presidential libraries to honor all past presidents and establishing libraries in rural areas.
The Minister urged them to make our libraries centers of innovation and lifelong learning by advancing digital literacy, fostering a culture of reading, and bolstering STEM education.
