Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, the interior minister, has underlined the government’s commitment to strengthening Ghana’s security framework and praised the vital role the police service plays in preserving peace and stability.
The Minister reassured foreign partners, companies, and investors during his speech at the Ghana Police Service Regional Commanders’ meeting that the government is still dedicated to providing a safe environment and making sure the required security measures are in place to support continuous business operations.

The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mr. Christian Tetteh Yohuno, was congratulated by Hon. Muntaka for starting an orientation for Public Relations Officers of the Regional and Unit Police.
He stated that the program’s objectives were to improve community involvement, disseminate important information, and cultivate public and police trust.
The IGP, Mr. Christian Tetteh Yohuno, said in his remarks that the meeting gave them a chance to think back and plan for the upcoming year.
Additionally, Mr. Yohuno counseled the officers to maintain the highest levels of professionalism, stressing the importance of discipline and moral behavior in the performance of their jobs.
