Hon. Ebenezer Okletey Terlarbi, the Deputy Minister for the Interior, led a delegation from the Ministry on behalf of the Minister to honor the notable military officers and statesmen who tragically perished in the recent helicopter crash at the Flagstaff House’s Ceremonial Gardens.
In order to sign books of condolence and express their sympathies to the management and employees of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), the delegation also paid visits to the Ministries of Defense, Environment, Science, and Technology.
Hon. Terlarbi, who was joined by the Acting Chief Director, Directors, and other high-ranking Ministry officials, offered his deepest sympathies, characterizing the deceased as brave patriots who devoted their lives to serving Ghana.

The country is still in mourning for the victims, which include Mr. Samuel Aboagye, Ag. Deputy NADMO Director-General; Dr. Samuel Sarpong, Vice Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC); Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, Minister of Defense; Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed, Minister of Environment, Science, and Technology; and Alhaji Muniru Mohammed, Ag. Deputy National Security Coordinator.
Three members of the Ghana Air Force, Sergeant Ernest Addo Mensah, Flying Officer Twum Ampadu, and Squadron Leader Peter Anala, also perished in the crash.
