Two people have been detained by police in the Ashanti Region in relation to the death of a 27-year-old who was allegedly stabbed at Tafo-Pankrono.

According to reports, the dead, Owusu Banahene, was discovered lying close to a public restroom and was transported to the hospital, but he passed away there.

The specific cause of his death is still under investigation by authorities, but according to the deceased’s family, the incident may have been sparked by a long-running dispute between rival adolescents from Pankrono and Adabraka zongo.
