Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts, joined Century Aviation Ltd. and Textron Aviation at the Air Force Base in Accra to witness a Cessna SkyCourier demonstration.
She called the plane a “game-changer” for domestic travel, emphasizing how it can land virtually anywhere and significantly reduce travel times to places like Aflao, Nkroful, and Mole National Park.
A high-level delegation led the demonstration, which included Mrs. Essie Anno Sackey, Director of Century Aviation Ltd.; David De Cock, Regional Sales Director for Textron Aviation; and Robert Prentice, Vice President of Africair, Inc. (Miami, FL, USA).
The Minister restated the Ministry’s resolve to increase connectivity, back the 24-hour economy agenda, and collaborate with the business sector to establish new tourist routes around Ghana.
