The National Service Scheme (NSS) has announced the deployment of 12,295 nurses who have signed up to complete their one-year national service requirement at recognized health facilities around the nation for the 2023–2024 service year.

The management of the National Service Scheme (NSS) “has…released postings of a total of TWELVE THOUSAND, TWO HUNDRED AND NINETY FIVE (12,295) nurses who enrolled to undertake their one-year mandatory national service at various accredited health facilities across the country for the 2023/2024 service year,” according to a statement from the NSS.
In a statement, the NSS pleaded with nurses who had been deployed to complete the validation and registration steps by visiting the Scheme’s website at www.nss.gov.gh to check for placement.
“All deployed nurses must consequently adhere to the following registration and validation procedures:
a. To check for placement, go to the Scheme’s website at www.nss.gov.gh;
b. print the appointment letter and head to the place of posting for the appointment letter’s endorsement.
At all locations around the nation, regional validation and registration will start on Monday, June 12, 2023, and end on Friday, June 30, 2023.
