Seven new envoys officially began their diplomatic missions to Ghana on Monday as President John Dramani Mahama received their letters of credence at the Presidency’s Banquet Hall.

Among the new envoys are:

  1. The Republic of Malta’s High Commissioner, H.E. Ronald Micallef
  2. Russian Federation Ambassador H.E. Andrei Ordash
  3. Polish Ambassador H.E. Michal Cygan
  4. Indonesian Ambassador H.E. Bambang Suharto
  5. H.E. Isbeth Lisbeth Quiel Murcia, Panamanian Ambassador
  6. H.E. Armen Sargsyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia
  7. H.E. Selestine Gervas Kakele, Tanzania’s ambassador

President Mahama welcomed the diplomats and reiterated Ghana’s dedication to developing mutually beneficial economic collaborations and fortifying bilateral ties. He described the government’s 24-Hour Economy program and how it contributes to the nation’s overall economic development.

“Ghana is currently pursuing a bold programme of economic transformation aimed at creating sustainable jobs and building a resilient economy, our focus remains on agricultural modernisation, industrialisation, digital transformation, and energy sector reforms.” the President stated.
