As heavy rainfall continues to cause flooding in some parts of the nation, the Presidency calls on all citizens in impacted areas to stay attentive and carefully follow safety advice.
If you are in a secure area, stay inside. Never try to drive or walk across flooded roadways.
If your house is flooded, get to higher ground right once and dial 112 for help.
It is recommended that drivers stay away from flooded regions, such as the Mallam–Kasoa Road, Alajo, and Graphic Road.
If you come into flooding, turn around and look for a secure, high spot.
Additionally, the public is cautioned to avoid electrical poles, transformers, and fallen power lines and to disconnect electrical appliances.
Your safety is paramount. Please follow official updates and emergency directives.
