Atimpoku–Asikuma Junction Road (Lot 2) rehabilitation is 40.80 percent finished and ahead of schedule.

The project is expected to be finished in December 2026, having started in December 2025.

As part of his working trip of the Volta, Oti, and Eastern Regions, Hon. Kwame Agbodza examined progress earlier today.

The contractor, DWAWILL Ltd., received praise from the Minister for their professionalism and high grade of work.

He stated, “The Big Push is all about enabling Ghanaian contractors to contribute to national development by building high-quality roads that will serve future generations.”

Progress of works

Thus far, the contractor has finished embankment, general and inappropriate excavation, and site clearance.

The contractor is now working on culvert construction, drainage systems, subbase pavement, and cut and filling to formations.
