Government Explores Unisky String Technology to Modernise Ghana’s Transport System

The Ministry of Transport has engaged a delegation from uScovery DMCC of the Unitsky Group of Companies over the introduction of an innovative transport technology that could contribute to the modernisation of Ghana’s transportation infrastructure.

The delegation, led by Chief Executive Officer Oleg Zaretskiy, paid a courtesy call on the Ministry to present the Unisky String Technology, a sustainable mobility solution developed by Unisky String Technologies Inc.

During the engagement, Mr. Zaretskiy outlined the concept, features and potential applications of the technology. He explained that the innovative transport system is designed to provide eco-friendly, high-speed and cost-effective transportation, potentially offering an alternative approach to urban and intercity mobility.

Ghana Considers Sustainable Transport Technology

Deputy Minister of Transport, Hon. Dorcas Affo-Toffey, welcomed the delegation and expressed the Ministry’s willingness to engage further on the proposed technology.

She assured the representatives of the Ministry’s readiness to provide relevant information and institutional support needed to facilitate a comprehensive feasibility assessment of the Unisky String Technology.

The proposed collaboration could pave the way for further discussions on the suitability of the technology for Ghana’s transportation needs, particularly as the country seeks innovative solutions to improve mobility and transport infrastructure.
