Today, Monday, February 26, 2024, is the first ever 3i Africa Summit, a fintech festival organized by the Bank of Ghana and the Development Bank of Ghana with the goal of promoting Innovation, Investment, and Impact for the continent’s Fintech and Financial Services industries.
The purpose of the launch is to formally notify partners, stakeholders, and the general public about the impending 3i Summit, which is set to take place at the Accra International Conference Centre in Ghana on May 13–15, 2024.
Vice-President Bawumia, the ministers of finance and communications whose ministries the summit will most directly affect, the secretary general of the AfCFTA, the governor of Ghana’s Central Bank, heads of multilateral organizations, heads of diplomatic missions, the main stakeholders, and heads of industry associations and organizations will all be present at the launch, which is strictly by invitation.
The 3i Africa Summit is an initiative that was developed in collaboration by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, Development Bank Ghana, and the Bank of Ghana. It is supported by Elevandi and aims to address important growth and investment opportunities, explore how market players in the financial ecosystem are leading the way in digital transformation, and pioneer the conversations and actions that are desperately needed to propel the Fintech industry in Africa.
A number of heads of state, influential legislators, investors, and executives from the financial services industry in Africa and abroad are expected to attend this event.
The summit offers a forum for investment networking, entrepreneurship, global intellectual resource alignment, and policy conversation.
Its primary focus is on the digital economy of Africa, encompassing FinTech, with the aim of stimulating investments, promoting economic expansion across the continent, and cultivating international collaborations for sustainable development.
The 3i Africa Summit, which has as its central theme “Unleashing Africa’s Fintech and Digital Economic Potential,” will take place in Ghana from May 13–15, 2024.
