Residents of the Sekondi and Takoradi Metropolis are witnessing a massive facelift in road infrastructure with the construction of 21km of selected roads in Axim, Shippers Council, De-Graft Johnson, Harbour, Sekondi, Adiembra and other roads.
Some major bridges along these roads, including the Butua Bridge, the bridge over the Railway line at Adeiembra and a footbridge on the Axim road are also being constructed.
The entire project is expected to be completed in August this year.
On Wednesday, 24th April 2024, Hon. Francis Asenso-Boakye inspected the project as part of a working tour of the Western Region and expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the work.
