At Takoratwene, a town in Ghana’s Eastern Region close to Maame Krobo, the Ghana Police Service has sent a specialized investigative team.
In reaction to the killing of two herders in the vicinity, this has happened recently.
According to accounts, the two victims suffered gunshot wounds to their backs in addition to having their heads severed. Other injuries were also reported to be missing.
To find a permanent solution to the event, the Police said in a statement on Thursday, May 30, 2024, that they are closely collaborating with the victims’ families and local authorities.
As they attempt to apprehend the offenders, the police have advised the people to maintain composure and self-assurance.
